I want to share a secret with you.

“…so that your fasting will not be noticed by men, but by your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees [what is done] in secret will reward you.” Matthew 6:18 NASB

I Want To Let You In A Secret

Jesus teaches a powerful principle about fasting. God sees us when we fast. He sees the secrets of our devotion to Him. He sees when we are genuinely pursuing God even if no one notices or cares.

He rewards the secrets of our pursuit of Him. Jesus says that the Father sees the secrets things done for Him. The Father responds by rewarding the secret things done for Him.

What Are The Rewards the Father Gives to Secret Devotion?

This Sunday, I am going to minister on rewards God gives for the secret devotion. As we close the fast this Sunday, we are going minister on what God did for people in the Bible who fasted. We are going to have a miracle service and pray for everyone.

Remember, bring your oil and put it on the altar.

We need a sign. (Note: The picture of the sign will look quite different than the one pictured above. For instance, it can not be a changeable LED sign.) 

In order to increase the visibility of the church, we need another sign. One of the issues with our building is that it is largely hidden by the apartment complex. When you examine churches that are growing today, they are largely visible from main roads. We can not move the building. We can not move the apartments. Our current sign is in poor condition and sits very low to the ground. We can increase the visibility of the church with a high-quality sign. This is especially important now due to the increased traffic on Veterans Pkwy and Green Tree Blvd.

Ask God What Your Part Is

A high-quality sign is not cheap. It will cost over $12k to purchase the sign and get it installed. That is not a lot of money for God. Ask God what He would have you give. Some may want to set a faith-pledge of $500, $1000 or more.
