Fire & Glory After Prayer

Now when Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the LORD filled the house. 2 Chronicles 7:1 NASB

We believe God answers prayer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365.25 days a year. We are setting aside this month to receive instruction and impartation of prayer. It has been said, “The method of prayer can be taught, but the spirit of prayer has to be caught.”

The Prayer That Caused Fire
Solomon had just prayed for the newly constructed temple. This prayer has many components that we can include in our prayer. He brings up the covenant, victory over the enemies, receiving forgiveness of sin, and many other topics and mindsets.

This Sunday we are going to explore this prayer. Ask the Holy Spirit for revelation about this prayer. We are believing for more of God’s fire and glory.

“not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:25 NASB

The more times you come to church the more you are benefited. We are encouraging you to come to church this summer. Every time you come to church (Sunday & Wednesday) you will receive a ticket. KEEP THE TICKET. On Sunday, September 2 at 6PM we will have a block party. At one point during the block party, we will have a drawing. Someone will win two cruise passes (certain limitations apply).

1. Bring a change of clothes and a towel. Wear dark clothing to be baptized in.
2. The baptisms will occur after praise & worship, so immediately go to the baptistery through the left door of the platform.

Evangel North J.O.Y. – Just Older Youth

This group of “seasoned” saints (55 and older) meet twice (2) monthly.

First Friday monthly (12 Noon) – for snacks, fellowship, music, and ministry.
Third Saturday monthly (12 Noon) – pitch-in dinner, fellowship, music, ministry.
