Shoes or No Shoes
In various cultures, the wearing of shoes is a sign of status. Servants do not wear shoes. Those in authority do wear shoes.
In the story of Noah, God speaks about how Noah was to have authority over the creation. For Noah to properly accomplish God’s mission to RECLAIM the earth and his very own life, he must understand that he has to exercise dominion over creation.
A proper understanding of this authority will recognize that we are both barefoot servants and sandal-footed people of authority.
This Sunday, we will unpack the truth about the authority we have and must exercise as believers. We are going to see how we are called to walk in submission and dominion. These are vital truths that will help all of us to reclaim our lives in the design of God.
