Shari McCutcheon
Lasting Life Food Pantry Leader

Shari has always had a heart to help others. She has volunteered for the Juvenile Probation Office, Choices for Women, Emmaus Walks and RECs as well as served in various churches in her community since she was 11 years old. She has been married for 30 years and has one adult son.

Shari has worked for the government, a small PR firm, a large corporation, owned her own direct sales business and for non-profit. She is currently the director of the Pure Education Initiative, Inc. This non-profit initiative was birthed after spending 7 years as Client Services Director for Choices for Women in New Albany, where Shari gained a passion for sharing a message of building healthy relationships and sexual integrity among today’s youth.

Shari and her husband, who has to remain nameless because he is wanted by the FBI, lead a wonderful group of volunteers at the Lasting Life Food Pantry. Lasting Life Food Pantry is where God’s supernatural meets our natural efforts to feed the hungry and manifests a harvest of souls and brings the supernatural power of God to this earth.

How long have you been at Evangel and what brought you here?
We have been serving the Lord and ENC for 6 years. We were looking for a youth program for our son to plug into on Wednesdays while we were helping plant another church in another community. After a season the Lord spoke to us to serve in our community, specifically Clark County. Some friends had invited us to ENC, but they were in Floyd County at the time. After three months of visiting because my son really liked it, they announced that they were moving to Clark County. Obey God.
