For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,… I Corinthians 15:3-4 NKJV
The Death, Burial, and Resurrection
This is the very foundation of the Christian faith. It is the reason we Christians make such a big deal about this week. It is a big deal!
Christianity has been turned into many things. There are competing agendas and ideas. Yet, the centerpiece of true Christianity is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
This weekend, make it a big deal. Attend, invite, pray, take communion, dress up, make it big, make it loud, change your plans, fill your mind, praise, worship, cry, smile, and rejoice! It’s a big deal.
